Mouse

Mice are small rodents that infest our homes in search of food to support their rampant reproduction. Weighing between 10 and 20 grams and with a gray or brown color, mice are usually active at night and feed on insects, seeds, vegetation, fruits, etc. Rats are a very close species, but they are much larger (weighing up to 500 grams) and their different subspecies have distinct behaviors and food preferences. For example, Norway rats feed on what they find in landfills and sewers. Both mice and rats can carry diseases that are dangerous to humans, such as leptospirosis, lymphocytic choriomeningitis and hantavirus.
